Bibles Authenticity, How 2 Know-God Is Real
The Bible is indeed a collection of sacred writings that contain a variety of literary forms, including history, laws, poetry, and parables. The parables, in particular, were often used by Jesus to teach deep spiritual truths in ways that were accessible and relatable to His listeners. Parables are short, simple stories used to illustrate moral or spiritual lessons. They make profound concepts easier to understand and apply in everyday life. In fact, many of Jesus' teachings in the Gospels, such as the Parable of the Good Samaritan or the Parable of the Prodigal Son, reveal timeless truths about love, mercy, and forgiveness in relatable ways.
"God’s Jealousy, His Desire 4 Our Faith"
The concept of God being a "jealous" God can be found in the Bible in verses like Exodus 34:14: “Do not worship any other god, for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God.” However, it's important to understand that God's jealousy is not the same as human jealousy,
which often stems from insecurity, pride, or selfishness. Instead, God's jealousy is a reflection of His love and desire for an exclusive, intimate relationship with His people.
It is like a loving husband or wife being "jealous" for the fidelity and loyalty of their spouse. God is the creator, and He desires the best for us—He knows that worshiping anything other than Him ultimately leads to harm and destruction.
His jealousy, therefore, is an expression of His deep commitment to our well-being, as He calls us to trust and rely on Him alone.
It simply saddens him to see anyone stray from being a
"Humble, Graceful, Loving, Understanding, Upright, Loyal, abiding human being.
Proof of the Bible's Authenticity
The Bible’s authenticity and historical accuracy are supported by several pieces of evidence as well as being proved at so many levels.
- Manuscript Evidence:
- The Bible, particularly the New Testament, has more manuscript copies than any other ancient book. Thousands of manuscripts, some dating back to within a few decades of the original writings, have been discovered, allowing scholars to compare and verify the consistency of the texts.
- Archaeological Discoveries:
- Archaeological findings have corroborated many events, places, and people described in the Bible. For example, the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls in the 1940s provided older manuscripts of the Old Testament that confirmed the reliability of the texts.
- Historical Consistency:
- Many of the events and figures mentioned in the Bible are also found in historical records from other ancient cultures. The existence of historical figures like King David, the Babylonian exile, and Roman rulers such as Pontius Pilate are supported by secular historical sources.
- Eyewitness Accounts:
- The New Testament, in particular, is based on the testimony of eyewitnesses, many of whom were willing to die for their faith in the resurrection of Jesus. This adds credibility to their writings, as people rarely die for something they know is false.
Spiritual Warfare: Forces of Evil and Their Agenda
The Bible teaches that there is a spiritual battle taking place in the heavenly realms. This battle involves forces of good and evil. Satan (also known as Lucifer) and his fallen angels, or demons, are constantly at work to undermine God's work in the world and to lead people away from faith.
If the negative forces can just get you to have doubt in God, that's all they need. Your flesh and desires will be the nail in the coffin.
According to passages like Ephesians 6:12, believers are warned that "our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms."
Lucifer, once a high-ranking archangel in heaven, rebelled against God and was cast out as a result. God gave Lucifer a unique gift—one that He didn’t give to anyone else: the gift of CHOICE.
This gift sparked the rise of Envy, Jealousy, Lust, Gluttony, Sloth, Pride, Wrath and Greed within Lucifer's heart.
He began whispering his doubts and ideas to his closest allies, and those angels who heard these whispers were torn between truth and lies. Lucifer’s desires grew stronger, and he led a third of the angels into rebellion. He led the Angels that listened to his lies up the the gates at which "The Almighty" dwelled.
Lucifer then began to scream blasphemy while mutilating his own body, pulling out the musical chords which intertwined through out his body.
Just as it began, it was over—accompanied by a low, rumbling voice that sounded like the roar of 10,000 chariots racing to war. "Casting Lucifer and the angels who were deceived, out of the first estate of heaven."
Amidst this, Lucifer experienced a feeling he had never known—a sense that his time has now been measured. Realizing his time was short, it became clear what he needed to do:
Ruin everything created by "Our Lord" and corrupt those made in His image—Adam and Eve.
Since that fateful day, Satan’s sole agenda has been to undermine God’s plans. His forces work tirelessly to plant seeds of doubt, temptation, and confusion in the hearts and minds of humans. Their ultimate goal is to make us question God’s word, disobey His commands, and drift away from our faith.
"God’s Jealousy and His Desire for Our Faith" Why the Evil Forces Work So Hard
The fallen angels are so determined to lead humans astray because we are made in God’s image (Genesis 1:26). This image is something that the forces of evil despise because we as humans reflects God's Glory, Love and Mercy. Lucifer and his fallen angels now mutated into demons want to destroy what God has created and tarnish His image.
When we, as human beings, live in accordance with God’s will, it reflects God’s majesty and goodness. This infuriates the forces of evil, as they long to diminish and corrupt God’s creation.
Furthermore, the Bible teaches that Satan’s ultimate goal is to prevent humanity from experiencing the eternal life God offers. If the forces of evil can cause us to turn away from God and live in sin, they can keep us separated from the Creator forever.
Why do you think when you first committed a sin, you feel guilt and sadness but didn't know why?
Even if you didn't know God. This is because our DNA was created to "love one another, to be together, we were not meant to be alone!
We as humans have these feelings unless you were born straight into an evil realm your parents created.
The Call to Resist
As Christians, it’s essential to recognize that the spiritual battle is real and that we are called to stand firm in faith.
James 4:7 encourages us, "Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." This is the Truth I tell you.
The Bible also offers hope, assuring us that God is greater than any force of evil and that victory is secured through Christ’s death and resurrection (1 John 4:4).
Through God's Word, prayer, and the power of the Holy Spirit, these are the tools God has given us and as believers; resist the negative forces of evil and remain faithful.
By embracing our identity as children of God—created in His image—we can live in the victory Christ won for us, knowing that ultimately, Satan and his forces will be defeated.
Sin or the Desires of the Flesh may bring pleasure for a season, but if you look beyond death, you’ll see the truth.
Seek the TRUTH, for in it lies Eternal Life.
Death, in the end, only returns us to our true home. But if we fail to make the right choices, a second path—one born of EVIL—awaits.
Stop being Weak, See if you can identify thoughts that come from desires of the flesh.
See if you can look to the bible and make the right decision with the thought at hand. Any Negative thought or not in accordance to the bible,
"Rebuke it in the Name of Christ"
